Real Madrid started their pre-season on a good note, as the Whites came from behind to beat AC Milan 3-2.
The first half by Real Madrid was largely unimpressive. Real Madrid lacked impact upfront, as Joselu and Brahim Diaz didn’t seem to get chances.
The midfield combination was poor and looked vulnerable at counterattacks and set pieces, conceding two goals eventually.
Jude Bellingham and Brahim Diaz seemed to be the brightest spot from the first-half.
Things changed dramatically after the break, with the likes of Rodrygo, Vinicius Jr, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Aurelien Tchouameni coming on.
The link-up of Rodrygo, Vinicius Junior and Federico Valverde seemed too hot for the AC Milan defence to handle, while the midfield with Luka Modric and Aurelien Tchouameni had better control.
Two quick-fire goals from Federico Valverde before the hour mark restored parity for the Los Blancos, while a late Vinicius Jr goal put Madrid in front. The game eventually ended at 3-2.
Up next for Real Madrid is Manchester United on Thursday morning.
