Eden Hazard’s contract was terminated at the end of last season, and the 32-year-old has since been clubless.
Hazard is believed to be attracting interest from the MLS, with David Beckham-owned Inter Miami said to be keen on the Belgian.
The Major League Soccer franchise announced on Sunday they had acquired an additional international roster spot for their squad in exchange for £116,000.
Having already snapped up Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, the likes of Hazard, Luis Suarez and Sergio Ramos have all been linked with a move to the club.
According to Voetbalkrant, the 32-year-old has rejected the approach, and has no interest in leaving Europe for the MLS.
Some reports elsewhere also claim that the Belgian is considering his retirement, after a poor spell at Real Madrid.
Hazard was a Premier League icon, after seven years at Chelsea, where he scored 110 goals in 352 games to cement himself as a fan favourite and club icon. He’d only score seven goals for Real Madrid across four seasons.
