After beating AC Milan 3-2, Carlo Ancelotti’s men defeated Premier League giants Manchester United 2-0, with goals from Jude Bellingham and Joselu sealing the deal.

Ancelotti had an opportunity to reunite with former Real Madrid star Casemiro, and he called the Brazilian ‘a Real Madrid legend’, and deservedly so.

Speaking on Casemiro, Carlo Ancelloti said: “We love him very much. For us, he’s still a Real Madrid player. He’s a Real Madrid legend.”

Speaking after the game, Ancelotti also hailed his team’s desire, passion and lack of ego as a recipe for success.

“We don’t have any egos in the team, and that makes it very easy to manage the dressing room,” Ancelotti told the media after Real Madrid beat Manchester United 2-0.

“The team is in good shape, the atmosphere is good and we’re motivated. We want to work well to start the season off well.”
