Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has been showing fine form in pre-season, and was on target as Real Madrid defeated Manchester United 2-0.
Bellingham was on the receiving end of a rough tackle from United defender Lisandro Martinez, which led to a bust-up between the two players.
Speaking after the game, Bellingham rather maintained his cool demeanour, and chose not to take it further than what happened on the pitch.
He said: “I can’t repeat what I told him! I don’t want to take it any further. We are two great competitors and we both want to win.
“After the final whistle, all is well, I wish him the best of luck. The blows, the tackles, the hardness in general is part of this sport. Respect, nothing happens.”
Bellingham also revealed that he’s happy with life so far at Real Madrid.
He said: “Right now I am happy, calm, enjoying life in this club. I’m going to sound boring, but my colleagues have welcomed me very well from day one, they have made me feel really comfortable. I love playing with these guys.
“Everything has surprised me very pleasantly. The atmosphere in the dressing room is spectacular and I try to learn every day from these enormous players. I go little by little, step by step, growing.”
