AC Milan have signed up defender Alex Jimenez from Real Madrid.

The 18-year-old fullback has passed his Milan medical and signed a 12-month loan agreement with the Italian side.

Jimenez will initially be registered with Milan’s Primavera team, as he’s expected to show his talent from there and push for a place in the first team.

Jimenez renewed his Real Madrid contract back in May 2022 – a three-year deal that was to last until 2025.

The talented full-back was tipped to eventually break into the Madrid first team, and was even training under Carlo Ancelotti’s watch.

However, injuries kept him out of the team, and some reports say he has also not always seen eye to eye with his Real Madrid coaches.
