Barcelona president Joan Laporta has insisted he isn’t too bothered about PSG star Kylian Mbappe.
The 24-year-old seems intent on playing for Real Madrid, where he can win the Ballon d’Or.
Laporta has hailed Mbappe as a top player, but insists that his team is complete and even better than last season.
“On paper, an extraordinary player, who makes a difference,” said Laporta of Mbappe.
“Having him in front of you complicates a game.
“I trust my team. The players that Barça have for me are the best. A team is made up of eleven players and the priority must always be the team over individualities.
“I would worry if the team in front of me had more strength as a team than mine. We have a better team than last year and we’re going to be even better.”
