Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo Goes, has revealed he is delighted to take the No. 11 shirt at Real Madrid.

The midfielder’s new number was confirmed today, as Rodrygo will vacate the No. 21 shirt.

Rodrygo has said the No. 11 shirt means a lot to him.

The Brazil international said: “It means a lot to me. It’s a number that I’ve liked since I was a child.”

Rodrygo admits that inheriting Paco Gento’s number is an honour.

Paco Gento is a Real Madrid legend, and was known for his blistering pace. He won a lot of titles for the club during his playing days, and is one of the greatest in the club’s history.

Rodrygo said: “He won six Champions Leagues and it would be an honor to be able to stay close to that achievement.”
