Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that Ferland Mendy picked up another injury in Real Madrid’s 3-0 defeat to Barcelona.

Mendy had a terrible last season, as he was injured for half of the campaign.

Speaking after the game against Barcelona, Ancelotti revealed injury concerns for Mendy and new signing Arda Guler.

After the game, Ancelotti told reporters: “Arda has the problem in his knee… I hope he can solve it in Madrid. He will have an individual program.

“Mendy has a discomfort in the ischium. He was fine so far and I hope it’s nothing serious.”
