Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has dismissed reports linking Liverpool with a move for Paris Saint-Germain star, Kylian Mbappe this summer.
Recent reports claim Liverpool have made an offer to PSG to loan Mbappe for a full season.
Mbappe is stalling on extending his current contract with the French giants, which ends in a year. PSG would rather not lose him for free though, and want to sell him this year.
An offer from Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal has already been rejected by the forward, with a recent report by the Mirror claiming that Liverpool want to step into the situation with a loan offer.
Fabrizio Romano insists Mbappe only has his mind fixed on playing for Real Madrid, and this is why there has been no other confirmation in the race for Mbappe.
“We had reports in England about a loan deal to Liverpool,” he said on his Youtube channel.
“Guys, what I’m hearing is PSG would be really happy to find a solution with an English club but the moment they have the same feeling that Mbappe wants to go to Real Madrid. No other destinations.
“This is why there is no confirmation of any agreement to sign Mbappe, or any advanced discussion with an English club.”
