Real Madrid midfielder Sergio Arribas has signed up with Almeria.
The 21-year-old Castilla star will now play Primera Division football this season after being sold to Almeria.
Arribas is a promising player, and Real Madrid have shown interest in his future by inserting first refusal option in his transfer deal.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano wrote: Sergio Arribas has just signed as new Almería player from Real Madrid.
“€6m fee, 50% sell-on clause to Real and right of first refusal also for Real Madrid in order to ‘control’ player’s future.”
Almeria coach Vicente Moreno has welcomed Arribas’ addition and sees the midfielder as a readymade starter.
Sevilla and Real Mallorca were also interested in the Madrid youngster.
