Real Madrid will start the new season with an away clash against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.

Following the tour of United States, Real Madrid have returned to training and are getting set to face Bilbao.

Carlo Ancelotti is already working on his squad and his best starting XI for this weekend.

However, three Real Madrid players will miss this game through injury.

Arda Guler, Dani Ceballos and Ferland Mendy are currently dealing with injuries, and will be unavailable for the weekend.

Mendy has suffered from a muscle injury in the right femoral biceps, while Ceballos is out with an injury to the distal tendon of the right femoral biceps muscle.

Ceballos will be out for about 20 more days, and Mendy will be out for about two weeks.

This shouldn’t be a worry for Carlo Ancelotti, as he has enough squad depth.
