Real Madrid have confirmed our biggest fears about Eder Militao’s injury. The defender has torn his ACL and could be ruled out for up to six months.
Militao started the 2-0 win against Athletic Bilbao, but was subbed off shortly after half-time, with Antonio Rudiger coming on for him.
The Brazilian lost balance on a slippery pitch and was unable to get off the ground for some time. He was eventually subbed off, as he winced in pain.
Ramos has now sent a message to Militao, wishing his former teammate well.
“It’s unfair, but you’ll come back stronger. I send you all my energy and support, mate! 😘” Sergio Ramos wrote on Instagram, pinning a couple of pics with Eder Militao.
We wish Eder Militao all the best, and hopes he’d come back stronger.
