The Brazilian centre-back has torn his ACL and could be ruled out for up to six months.

Militao started the game against Athletic Bilbao, but was subbed off early in the second-half after an injury.

Carlo Ancelotti has now called up Castilla central defender Marvel to Real Madrid’s first-team training ahead of the weekend game against Almeria.

The left-centre-back has earned a promotion to the senior team, and has been spotted in training with the first team.

The 20-year-old will be included in Real Madrid’s squad for the game against Almeria on Saturday.
