Key Real Madrid player missing in UEFA’s top ten players of last season

UEFA have released a list of top ten players who stunned for club and country last season.

Only Luka Modric made the list from the Real Madrid squad.

The top three in the list are Lionel Messi, Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland.

The aforementioned trio will fight to be named UEFA Best Player on August 31.

4. İlkay Gündogan (Germany & Barcelona – 129 points)

5. Rodri (Spain & Manchester City) – 110 points

6. Kylian Mbappé (France & Paris) – 82 points

7. Luka Modrić (Croatia & Real Madrid) – 33 points

8. Marcelo Brozović (Croatia & Al Nassr) – 20 points

9. Declan Rice (England Arsenal) – 14 points

10. Alexis Mac Allister (Argentina & Liverpool) – 12 points

Only Luka Modric made the cut from the Real Madrid team. It’s a surprise that there’s no room for Vinicius Jr despite his form last season.

Vinicius played 55 games for Real Madrid last season, scoring 23 goals with 21 assists.

Vinicius also bagged 7 goals and 5 assists in 12 appearances in the Champions League last season.
