Ancelotti admits this Real Madrid star makes him angry

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has admitted he often gets annoyed at some of the needless dribbles of star forward Vinicius Jr.

Ancelotti was seen speaking sternly to Vinicius in the game against Almeria, and he has revealed what happened.

Ancelotti has urged Vinicius to reduce some of his unnecessary dribbles.

The Italian gaffer said: “We discussed him giving the ball away needlessly in the box. Nothing special.

“I don’t want to stifle his creative streak but sometimes he takes risks and I get a bit angry.

“But I can tell you I get excited by watching him play far more often than he makes me angry.”

Ancelotti also reserved praise for Vinicius and summer signing Joselu.

Ancelotti said: “I haven’t set targets for anyone. They are doing a great job because their mobility is a great way for us to create chances.

“They will continue in the same vein, of course. There may be fewer chances in certain games, but the bench is well covered with Joselu, who has different attributes. His presence in the penalty area will be very important.”
