Kepa Arrizabalaga jumped at the opportunity to move to Real Madrid, following the club’s interest in him, as Thibaut Courtois picked up a long-term injury.

Kepa’s first interview was done in front of Real Madrid’s Champions League trophy haul, and the Spaniard was very impressed, or probably intimidated by it.

Kepa said: “Fourteen Champions League trophies… it’s shocking.”

Kepa has also won the Champions League at Chelsea, and the Europa League as well.

Kepa is expected to be in goal for Real Madrid’s next game against Celta Vigo.

The Chelsea loanee will also be the first choice goalkeeper this season, with Andriy Lunin as his backup.
