Real Madrid veteran Luka Modric has revealed that he’s glad to have made the Ballon d’Or 30-man shortlist.

Madrid stars Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham also made the team.

Modric, who has won the Ballon d’Or once, was pleased to see his Croatian teammate in the shortlist.

“I’m glad to be in the [Ballon d’Or] top 30, and I’m also happy for [Josko] Gvardiol who deserves it with his performances,” Luka Modric has told the media.

“I’m also happy for Livakovic who is nominated for the best goalkeeper. All of this is great for Croatian football.”

Modric turned 38 on Saturday, and he’s still a top player.
