Real Madrid are looking to start the process of signing Kylian Mbappe from January.
The Frenchman has been a long-time target for the Los Blancos, and Real will be able to sign him as a free agent next summer.
However, Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to spend as much as £200m to sign the PSG and France superstar.
According to Sport, Real Madrid will press ahead with trying to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with Mbappe in January.
PSG still have hopes of keeping Mbappe, but that may not happen this time around, as Mbappe did a U-turn in the summer of 2022, when he had already agreed terms with Real Madrid only to remain and sign a new contract with PSG.
Mbappe is resolute on leaving the Parisians this time around, and the Los Blancos want to seal the deal as early as January.
Since returning to the PSG fold, after being blacklisted by his club, Mbappe has scored five goals from just two starts and one substitute outing.
