Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti has said that Pep Guardiola’s Man City are favourites to win the Champions League this season.
City claimed the title last season for the first time in the club’s history after beating Inter Milan 1-0 in the final at Istanbul.
Real Madrid lost out to City in the semi-final, after a disastrous performance at the Etihad Stadium.
Ancelotti told a news conference on Tuesday: “I think City are favourites.
“They have a squad which allowed them to win it last year, which hasn’t changed much. There are always surprises, above all in the latter stages, but right now City could be considered favourites.”
Real Madrid hold the highest number of Champions League trophies (14) including winning it five times in the last decade.
