Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has picked up a muscle injury ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Union Berlin.

Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Carvajal will miss the game through injury.

“Dani Carvajal won’t play tomorrow. He will undergo tests tomorrow but we don’t think it’s something serious,” Ancelotti said in his press conference ahead of the game.

“Champions League is always special for us. Tomorrow’s game will be special.”

Carvajal is also expected to miss the Madrid derby against Atletico Madrid this weekend.
