In a recent interview with GOAL, Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister was asked to rank a series of top footballers, including Paul Scholes, Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard, among many others.

The Liverpool summer signing was then asked to rank Andres Iniesta, Luka Modric and Kevin De Bruyne.

Mac Allister chose Barca legend Iniesta as the best among the three.

Surprisingly, Mac Allister ended up picking Modric as his last option, just behind De Bruyne.

This is indeed a poor choice, as Modric is the only player among the three to have won the Ballon d’Or.
