Real Madrid have a crunch tie against Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium today, and it is expected to be a difficult game.

Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has said he believes the referees would do their job well and not try to favour Real Madrid.

Simeone has told his players to focus only on the game and the opposition.

He said: “We are more concerned about the game, we have to leave the referee alone, he is a great referee, I think he is the first and he will be excited to do well like the footballers, we have to take care of ourselves and worry about having a great game.

“We are preparing it with enthusiasm.

“The opponent is very good, very strong, confident in what they do, they have resolved the important losses they have had, it will be tough and difficult like all of us who play against Real Madrid and from there we will have to carry the party where we believe we can hurt him.”
