La Liga president Javier Tebas has for many years had a poor relationship with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

Tebas has now said he won’t be mending bridges with his Real Madrid counterpart anytime soon.

According to Tebas, they are both miles apart in how they see things.

Tebas and Perez fell out after Real Madrid’s attempts to create a breakaway European Super League.

Asked about fixing the relationship, Tebas told Movistar: “A reconciliation with Perez? No, it’s a cultural issue, of differences.

“It’s like if you asked me, ‘Is there any chance you would give me your house? Why not?’

“It’s practically the same thing. We think too differently about European football, there is no possibility of an agreement between me and most of the Spanish clubs.”
