Arda Guler was expected to be a part of the Real Madrid squad for the game against Las Palmas.

The youngster who’s yet to feature for the club since signing during the summer, has suffered yet another injury setback and could be out for another three weeks.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has said Arda Guler is suffering a run of bad luck, but is confident that the Turkish talent will be back soon.

Ancelotti said after the victory over Las Palmas: “It was bad luck. He finished yesterday’s training session really well, he even scored the last goal of the game.

“Then he felt something in his thigh and he’s picked up a slight injury. The player is sad because he was feeling in good shape.

“We’ll have to wait on him a bit longer. It’s only a small issue but it meant he wasn’t available to get some minutes today, which was the original plan.”
