Real Madrid defender David Alaba got off injured in the 2-0 victory over Las Palmas in midweek.
Scans taken after the game have now confirmed that Alaba won’t be out for too long.
According to Cope’s Melchor Ruiz, tests have revealed that Alaba only suffered a small injury to the right abductor during the game against Las Palmas.
Alaba is now expected to be ruled out for at least a week. At most, he could only miss two weeks of football.
Alaba has been ruled out of the weekend’s game against Girona, but could play against Napoli next Tuesday, if he recovers on time.
Alaba has been a regular for the Los Blancos, and has played in all of Real Madrid’s eight games this season.
