Real Madrid produced an impressive comeback, as the Los Blancos defeated Napoli 3-2 at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium on Tuesday.
Real Madrid deservedly won the tie, but there was a contentious decision that could have made the game go south.
When the Los Blancos were 2-1 up, the hosts were awarded a controversial penalty after Nacho’s handball.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti faulted the decision after the game.
Ancelotti said: “I think it was not a penalty. It’s rebounded on to Nacho’s hand – you can’t cut your hand off! The rule says that on a rebound, you can’t give a foul.”
Madrid must play better this season
