Nacho Fernandez was given a red card for a very reckless tackle on Cristian Portu in the stoppage time of Madrid’s win against Girona.
La Liga has officially announced that Nacho will be suspended for three of Real Madrid’s upcoming La Liga games.
The Madrid skipper will miss the following fixtures:
Home game against Osasuna – October 7
Away game against Sevilla – October 21
Away game against Barcelona – October 28
Carlo Ancelotti will have to do without Nacho during El Clasico tie. This shouldn’t have been a problem ordinarily, but with Eder Militao and David Alaba nursing injury problems, Antonio Rudiger is the only fit centre-back that’s currently available.
