Real Madrid signed up Jude Bellingham during the summer transfer window, and the Englishman has proven to be a top signing already.

Vinicius Jr has revealed that he so wanted Bellingham to sign for the club, and that he messaged the 20-year-old countless times to join the club before he did.

“I wanted Jude at Real Madrid!” Vinicius Junior told the media.

“I sent many messages to Bellingham last year. I was texting [him] almost every day and I was telling him: ‘Come to Madrid’.”

Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti gave glowing remark of the partnership between Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr after the Champions League win against Napoli.

Speaking about their combination, Ancelotti said: “We asked Vini Jr. To find the position he feels he is best suited to.

“Sometimes he played on the outside and sometimes on the inside. Bellingham linked up well with him and they both have a lot of creativity.

“Having both of them positioned on our left flank certainly creates a lot of danger.”
