Luka Modric got a starting role in Real Madrid’s game against Osasuna.
The Los Blancos were in top form and put four past Osasuna without conceding a goal.
Modric had a very good game and lasted 78 minutes on the pitch before he was subbed off for Brahim Diaz.
The veteran midfielder carved out Jude Bellingham’s opener to cap a stunning midfield performance.
Upon his exit, the Madrid faithful gave Modric a standing ovation.
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was happy with Luka Modric’s display, and admitted he deserves the standing ovation.
Ancelotti said: “He is his usual self, with his quality and commitment. The ovation today is normal for what he’s done for this club.
“In order for you to get the best out of it, the atmosphere has to be pure. We have a fair vibe with smart people, young and old.
“They get on well with each other and I enjoy this atmosphere.”
