2 Real Madrid players make 25-man Golden Boy shortlist

The 2023 Golden Boy shortlist has been unveiled, and two Real Madrid players made the cut.

Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler are part of the shortlist, for the award.

An international jury made up of 50 journalists from all over Europe votes for the Award and the list of the 25 finalists was unveiled today.

The list has been split into two – the first being the 20 top finalists as determined by the Golden Boy Index and the remaining five players nominated as ‘wildcards’ by the editorial team at Tuttosport.

Real Madrid’s Arda Guler, Genk’s Bilal el Khannouss, Dinamo Zagreb’s Martin Batuina, and Benfica’s Joao Neves are also in the running as part of the wildcard picks.

Jude Bellingham is the main favourite to win the award. He’d be rivalled by Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich), Alejandro Balde (Barcelona), Xavi Simons (RB Leipzig), and Florian Wirtz (Bayer Leverkusen).
