Premier League side Manchester City are pushing to sign Real Madrid icon Toni Kroos in 2024 and a contract on lucrative terms could be agreed as early as January, according to Spanish media outlet Defensa Central.
The arrival of Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund has reduced the playing time of 33 year old Kroos at Real Madrid and he is expected to leave Real Madrid when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Kroos reportedly earns around £130,000-a-week at Real Madrid and Manchester City are ready to offer around £250,000-a-week on a two-year contract to sign the German midfielder.
Kroos has won the Champions League five times in his career, once with Bayern Munich and four times with Real Madrid.
Last summer, Kroos turned down lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia and MLS clubs to pen a 12-month extension at Madrid.
