Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Jude Bellingham will start the El Clasico against Barcelona this weekend.

It was feared the England international will miss the game against Barcelona following an injury scare against Braga in the Champions League.

Bellingham limped off in the latter stages of Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory over Braga on Tuesday evening due to a problem with his groin.

“Tomorrow, he will play. He is fine,” Ancelotti told reporters on Friday.

“He has recovered well. I don’t think I have to explain to him about El Clasico everyone knows very well what it is. It is one of the most important matches in the world.”
