Real Madrid have confirmed France international midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is out injured following Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Barcelona.
Statement by Real Madrid: “After the tests carried out on Aurélien Tchouameni by the Real Madrid Medical Services, the player has been diagnosed with an incomplete stress fracture in the second metatarsal of the left foot. His progress is to be monitored.”
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tchouameni will be out for 6-8weeks.
Romano wrote: “Aurélien Tchouaméni will be out for 6/8 weeks after new injury.
“Tchouaméni has been diagnosed with an incomplete stress fracture in the second metatarsal of the left foot.
“Real Madrid are undefeated this season with Aurélien Tchouaméni as starter.”
