According to reports, Carlo Ancelotti has until New Year’s Eve to give his approval to become the next manager of Brazil.

Ancelotti has a contract with Real Madrid until the summer of 2024, and is expected to take over the Brazil job afterwards.

Ancelotti has been linked with the Brazil job for over a year now, and the Italian is believed to be very interested in it, even though he hasn’t said so publicly.

Brazil Football Confederation president Ednaldo Rodrigues claimed in July that Ancelotti will take over from current interim boss Fernando Diniz by the time the 2024 Copa America in the United States kick off next June.

However, the deal hasn’t been made official yet.

Spanish radio station Cadena Cope have now reported that it is ‘expected’ for the 64-year-old Italian to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season.

Brazil appointed Diniz on a temporal basis, and Ancelotti is seen as the ideal man to take over.

The 64-year-old however has until December 31st to make it official, reports claim.
