The bulk of Real Madrid’s goals this season have come from Jude Bellingham, who has scored 13 goals in 13 appearances so far this.
Bellingham has had an explosive start at Real Madrid, and has saved the team with his goals on countless occasions.
However, the usually reliable forward players Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo, have struggled for goals in Carlo Ancelotti’s 4-4-2 system.
Both have struggled to find the net this campaign, with Vinícius scoring twice in La Liga and Rodrygo just once.
Carlo Ancelotti has however backed the two Brazilians to outscored Bellingham come the end of the season.
“I think Rodrygo and Vinícius are going to score more goals during the season,” Ancelotti said in a news conference ahead of Madrid’s game with Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.
“They’ll score more than Bellingham and Joselu. We don’t have any doubts about that.”
Centre-forward Joselu has also impressed, with five league goals from five starts and six substitute appearances, scoring more than Rodrygo and Vinícius Jr who are both ahead of him in the coach’s pecking order.
“The important thing is that when [Vinícius and Rodrygo] aren’t there, Bellingham and Joselu are,” Ancelotti said. “They’ve done very well in this first part [of the season]. But Rodrygo and Vinícius will score again, no problem. There’s no hurry.”
