Barcelona legend Carles Puyol has said he’d have loved to have a talk with Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr over his behaviour.

During Real Madrid’s game against Rayo Vallecano, Vinicius Junior had an altercation with an opposition player, and also picked up yet another yellow card.

The Brazilian is among the players with the most bookings this year, and Puyol believes the Real Madrid forward should be spoken to.

“As his [Vinicius Junior’s] teammate, I would love to talk to him and tell him what I think and what I feel,” Carles Puyol has told the media.

“He is a great player who makes the difference and who should be admired in every sense. If he changed his attitude, he would have more recognition.”
