Arda Guler was left on the bench, as Real Madrid defeated Braga 3-0 in the Champions League clash against Braga.

The youngster is yet to kick a ball this season, and was left on the bench for this game, despite Real Madrid strolling to a 3-0 victory.

Carlo Ancelotti has now revealed he didn’t feature Guler as a substitute as not to aggravate his injury, and rather give him time to recover.

Ancelotti said: “We are being very careful with him. He only completed 4 trainings with the team after a serious injury. He will have his chance when he will be 100% ready.”

Meanwhile, Real Madrid captain Nacho Fernandez has said he can’t wait for Arda Guler to feature for Real Madrid.

Nacho said: “He is very young, he has incredible talent. He has features to play for Real Madrid.

“He has already recovered and we want to see him play. He has incredible potential.”
