Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that young midfielder Arda Guler will miss the weekend clash against Valencia.

The 18-year-old is yet to play for Real Madrid since signing for the club due to injury.

The youngster has been suffering relapse from his injury after getting injured during pre-season.

Ancelotti has now revealed that the teenager has a slight issue that will see him miss game against Valencia.

He said: “Unfortunately, this happened before the game against Braga [on Wednesday].

“It continues to bother him, it is not a serious thing… he is obviously depressed, because he wants to play. It is a step back, but this is not a relapse. We have the whole break to recover it in the best way possible.

“His future is beautiful, beautiful. He is a very talented player. I can understand that the player is disappointed, but it is just a muscle problem.

“Guler’s future here is not in doubt. It’s just one episode and I hope he can recover after the break.”
