Real Madrid are working to secure the future of some young important players at the club.

The likes of Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde have all had their contracts renewed.

There have been no update on a contract renewal for Carlo Ancelotti who’s in the final year of his contract.

However, Ancelotti has said he’s calm about the situation, and isn’t envious about the players getting new deals.

Asked if he was envious seeing so many of his players having their deals renewed, Ancelotti stated: “I’m not envious of the players renewing their deals with Real Madrid.

“We have time to discuss my renewal, but the future of this club is secure with these players. The present is the squad we have right now and the future lies in the hands of the young players.

“They’re delighted to renew their contracts because they are very happy here.”
