Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he warned Brahim Diaz not to do flashy flicks again.

Diaz had a fine game against Valencia, but was eventually subbed off after a failed backheel, and the Madrid boss has made it known that he is not a fan of backheels.

He said: “I told Brahim not to do backheels because I don’t like them.”

Diaz is a skillful player, but may have to cut down on his skills, as Ancelotti seems to be a typical Italian.

Diaz has started just three games this term across all competitions, scoring once and assisting another.
