Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has warned that Jude Bellingham shouldn’t play for England during the international break.

The Englishman missed Real Madrid’s 5-1 win against Valencia due to injury, and Ancelotti has said he should also sit out England’s games as well.

Ancelotti said: “Bellingham is going to England to be assessed, but he’ll be back soon.

“If he can’t play today, he can’t play for them. He needs to do some specific work over the next few weeks to strengthen his shoulder. He’ll be ready to play after the international break. The last three games at home have been very good.

“We lacked precision against Rayo Vallecano, but in the other two we were a very complete team. We played good football, with quality, solidity, sacrifice and commitment.”
