Real Madrid were in devastating form on Saturday, as the Los Blancos defeated Valencia 5-1.

It was a top performance from defence to attack, but Real conceded a late goal in the 88th minute, much to the annoyance of skipper Nacho Fernandez.

Real had kept clean sheets against Rayo Vallecano and Braga in previous games, before conceding against Valencia.

He said: “We’ve been playing very well lately. Today we conceded that goal at the end, which hurts the back line a little bit. But in general, we’ve been very good defensively for a lot of games.

“The key to winning titles is to be good defensively because we have a lot of potential up front.”
