According to a report by Marca, Real Madrid have sacked long-time chief medical officer, Niko Mihic.

Mihic has held the post of Real Madrid’s medical head since 2017, when he was brought in to replace Dr. Olmo.

However, the club has been experiencing injury problems of late.

The Croatian’s practices has reportedly been called into question by the players and staff.

Eder Militao and Thibaut Courtois have both been ruled out with long-term injuries, over ACL tears.

Mihic was then given the boot following the poor handling of summer signing, Arda Guler.

Guler is yet to feature for the team this season, and has suffered two injury relapse. This has now led to the sacking of Mihic.
