Barcelona midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has heaped praises on Real Madrid youngster Arda Guler.

Gundogan has admitted his admiration for Guler, and backed the youngster to have a bright future.

Amidst his injury troubles, Gundogan believes Guler will still be a successful player, and likened him to former Real Madrid midfielder Mesut Ozil.

He said: “I talk to Rüdiger, he likes Arda very much. Yes, he had physical issues and couldn’t start the season with two injuries. But he’s very talented.

“Arda Güler is similar to Mesut Özil. Even Özil said the same thing. Arda’s future is bright.”
