Real Madrid gives injury report on Vinicius Jr

Real Madrid have issued a report on the injury suffered by Vinicius Jr while playing for Brazil in a World Cup qualifier against Colombia.

Statement from Real Madrid: “Following tests carried out today on our player Vinicius Jr. by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a tear in his left femoral bicep which is affecting the tendon in his hamstring. His recovery will be monitored.”

“We will come back stronger,” Vinícius wrote on social media platform X.

According to ESPN, Vinicius is expected to be out injured for 2½ months.

Vinícius has six goals and four assists in all competitions for Madrid this season.
