Luka Modric was offered a juicy deal to move to Saudi Arabia at the end of last season, but the veteran midfielder brushed aside the lures of Saudi Arabian riches to play competitive football in Europe.
However, it hasn’t been the season the 38-year-old was expecting, as he has been sort of an impact player.
According to Spanish media, Luka Modric will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season to join the Saudi Pro League.
According to Sport, Modric looks set to end his twelve-year stay with Real Madrid come the end of the season.
Modric’s agent has previously hinted that the midfielder has had several offers from other clubs.
“This summer there was interest. The player has several offers, from a club the capital and another club.
“Modric is currently thinking about Real Madrid, but the idea of him moving to the Saudi Pro League is possible if the offer is suitable.”
