Real Madrid defender David Alaba has reacted to speculations linking him with a return to Bayern Munich.

Alaba is considered a legend at Bayern, and spent most of his career with the Bavaria – a successful 12-year spell at with the Bundesliga giants, and made over 430 appearances across all competitions, winning a total of 25 trophies including 10 Bundesliga titles.

In the summer of 2021, the 31-year-old moved to Real Madrid as a free agent, as he sought a fresh challenge. He has indeed been a key player since making the switch to Real Madrid.

Speculations has recently surrounding Alaba’s future at the club, but he has now squashed those talks.

Speaking to reporters during the international break, as quoted by journalist Fabrizio Romano, about a potential return to the Allianz Arena, Alaba said: “I’m not thinking that far ahead. I feel very comfortable in Madrid.

“I like Real Madrid and I have very clear goals. My thoughts are not anywhere else.”
