Real Madrid youngster Gonzalo Garcia has revealed his delight at making his debut for Real Madrid in the 3-0 win at Cadiz.

The 19 year-old came on as a second-half substitute for Federico Valverde very late in the game.

He said after the game: “I arrived at the club when I was only 10 years old and today I have fulfilled the dream of being able to debut with the Real Madrid. A game that I will always remember because there is nothing bigger than wearing this shirt. Grateful to all who have made this moment possible. Hala Madrid.

“I am happy. At first I was nervous, but then on the field it calmed me. I am grateful for this. Since I was little I dreamed of playing with the first team because I have always been a madridista. It was the first time I traveled with the first team and it is a new experience. The colleagues are very nice and make this experience much easier.

“I am going to keep it (his shirt), I will ask the colleagues to sign it for me and I will keep it for the memory.”
