However, Girona have been the surprise package of this season.
Girona are fighting for the title, and are currently level on points with Real Madrid – 35 points from 14 games.
However, according to a Super Computer from The Analyst, Girona won’t win the La Liga this season. The supercomputer however backed Girona to finish above Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. Barca were even backed to finish 4th.
According to this supercomputer, Girona has a 0.6% chance of winning the La Liga this season. Although they have been strongly tipped to finish among the top four at 36.1%.
Barca have a 7.5% chance of retaining their title which is less than Atletico’s 12.3%.
It’s Real Madrid who have been named as clear favourites with a 79.4% chance of winning the title this season.
