Real Madrid youngster Endrick has won the Brazilian Serie A title for the second time in his young career.

Endrick scored the only goal for his team as Palmeiras played a 1-1 draw against Cruzeiro, which was enough to see them win the Brazilian Serie A title for the second year running.

17-year-old Endrick had been superb for Palmeiras in the last games leading to the end of the season, scoring six goals in the last eight games to ensure that Palmeiras secured the title.

Endrick set a record in the process, as he has surpassed Neymar for most goals scored in the Brazilian league by a player under the age of 17. Endrick has 14 goals in 38 games, while Neymar managed 13 goals in 36 games before turning 18.

Real Madrid has sent a congratulatory message to the young Brazilian.

“Congratulations Endrick on winning your second consecutive Brasileirão! Your goal in the last match helped your team Palmeiras win a much-deserved title. We’re very proud of you,” Real Madrid said in their message to the youngster who will join the club once he turns 18.
